UPDATE: The correct answer to the question of the cans below is Ora Beans. Ora is a very famous brand of canned beans in Iceland. Of course, we think opening up a can of "Airtail 2015" cocktails might be a little more fun than beans. Our mini-Thorrablot (the traditional Icelandic mid-winter celebration) in Seattle on the 21st of February at Rob Roy was a huge success, and we're pretty excited to get right back on the road for the Icelandic Association of Northern California's Thorrablot coming up on March 7th. In case you missed it, the NY Post did a roundup (here) of hard-to-find, international spirits now being poured in some of NYC's more adventurous bars and restaurants. Our good friends at Skal NYC made the list, with Brennivin of course. Speaking of NYC, the guys at Baby's All Right, in Williamsburg are now serving Brennivin. They're at 146 Broadway, right down the block from Peter Luger Steakhouse. Pretty obvious what we'll be doing on our next trip to Brooklyn! Portland bartender, blogger, and all around Aquavit enthusiast, Jacob Grier, included Brennivin in a recent post (here). We're looking forward...

Seattle, the wait is finally over. Brennivin is now available by the bottle at the following locations: Capco in West Seattle Wine World & Spirits QFC on Holman Road We'll all be back at the office in early September with more availability news including some great bars and restaurants in Seattle and Los Angeles, shipping out all the merch orders...and giving everyone an East Coast update.
